Ureshii: Napkins (Pack of 4)
We have partnered with Ureshii to bring you the most beautiful home linens!
These 10" x 10" squares are perfect for use as napkins or handkerchiefs. With different colour options, you can easily keep table linens and personal linens separate.
Linen: This classic fabric is made from flax, which can be grown in northern climates like ours. Growing flax uses less water and fewer pesticides than cotton, so it's a better choice for the environment. Linens wear in rather than wearing out - the feel gets better with every wash. This fabric is 100% biodegradable.
Hemp: Just like linen, hemp can be grown in Canada and uses less water and fewer pesticides than cotton. It too improves with each wash. Hemp cloth softens and fades over time, but remains durable and is easy to care for. Our hemp fabric is blended with 45% organic cotton. This fabric is 100% biodegradable.
Wash Instructions:
Use a very mild detergent or delicate wool wash. Don't use regular detergent or softeners - they're cruel to fabric, and your linens will wear out faster. Use the delicate cycle and use cold water. Do not use bleach.
Lay flat or hang to dry whenever possible. Distribute the weight evenly to reduce distortion. Finger press while wet and smooth out - it saves ironing later. Avoid line drying in the bright sun unless you like that faded look.
Occasionally dry on low or medium heat to relax creases and retain shape. Remove while still damp. Do not use dryer sheets. Wool dryer balls work great.
Use the correct temperature and steam option on your iron. If you want to press your wovens: Hemp = the linen setting.
Don't fuss too much about wrinkles - natural fibres have a distinctive look that's fun to rock!
